So, I spoke to Alan De Genova yesterday. It apears that the majority of the parks board members are on board with saving China Creek.  So good work guys. But it ain’t over yet. Not until they vote. So keep writing your letters and making phone calls. Good work everyone.

Support Alan Degenova

Parks Commissioner, Alan Degenova is one of The Vancouver Skateboarding Coalition’s greatest advocates. As you may know, Alan was suspended from the NPA about 7 months ago. I won’t get into the details but he is making his decision on what his future plans are on Monday. Will he stay with the NPA? Will he go with Vision? Or will he go independent? I predict independent. He is a popular guy, so he can. So skaters, Alan is having a press conference Monday Nov, 20th at 837 West Hastings and Hornby St. at the Terminal City Club. Lets go down and show Alan our support.

Alison Matasi, Kris Foley and Kathy Miller are a few of the local shred dogs in a new movie called Skate Life. FYI, Skate Life is not just another skate vid, they are acting. Yay, I can’t wait to see it. I bet you can’t either.

You’re probably all bitching about the rain right now, I know that I am. It’s been nothing short of a deluge out there and it looks like Vancouver may be on track to break the one-month total rainfall record set back in 1983. But while you’re cursing the sky, take a couple of minutes to remind yourself of how Chad Muska from sunny L.A. handled himself back in July when it poured rain on Supra demo day at the Plaza.
