My letter and Ms Kim’s are in today’s issue, as well as a letter from a neighbour, Hilda Nanning, who still needs to be won over. As for Hilda’s concerns about a skatepark being so close to a daycare, being a China Creek neighbour myself, I’m more worried about the junkies that shoot up in the daycare’s playground, then about some toddler getting stoked watching Chris doing a blunt fakie.

Word! I read that article yesterday morning thinking about how the mini skate rats doing their tech tricks and the old buggers like me doing kickflip to fakie on the flat banks scare away the junkies.
I don’t know if anyone has been to the OG hubba in San Francisco, but that place is a skank-hole now that they’ve “skate stopper’d” it. Don’t get me wrong, it was a moderately sketchy place to start with, but now its a COMPLETE bust. Stoppered and cluttered with addicts and bums
