Springtime Plaza Reminder

At risk of sounding like a broken record, I’m sending out another reminder about the Quebec St. sidewalk issue.

So here it is… if you’re heading to or from The Plaza along Quebec St., it’ll help us all out in the long run if you cross the street and take the path on the west side.

Keep in mind that while The Plaza has lots of support, it’s not necessarily a permanent facility. If there are persistent problems that negatively impact people who live in the area, the city may decide to move it somewhere else. Crossing the street is a pretty small effort, and besides, the path is smoother and has some ledges on it. Plans are in the works to make the path more skate friendly too… we’re working on it.

If you have something to say about the issue, come to the meeting on Monday. If you want to speak, call Julie Casanova (604-257-8451) before noon on Monday.
