Commercial Drive Car-Free days
Come on down to Commercial Drive and skate with the Vancouver Skateboard Coalition. We will be hosting a skate session on Commercial Drive near Parker Street near Grandview Park for the Car-Free days event on Sunday July 22nd (noon to 5pm).
Kids of all ages are encouraged to bring their boards and gear and skate with us. We will have quarter pipes, manual pads, and a flat bar. There will be bands playing on the stage next to us, as well as the Terminal City Roller Derby girls rolling around right next door.
Please feel free to ask us questions about our organization and about skateboarding in Vancouver. There will be a few extra boards, as well as helmets, so come on down and try it out. Just look for the Vancouver Skateboard Coalition’s banner and you’ll see us skating there.
