[Note: The following is not an official endorsement on behalf of the entire Vancouver Skateboard Coalition. It is an individual statement from one of the Coalition’s members.]

Normally I don’t get too involved in politics. I try and stay neutral. But in Alan Degenova’s case I feel he has gone far and beyond for our organization and for Vancouver’s skateboarders. You name a new skate park and Alan has been involved somehow. (HASTINGS!)

Alan has decided to run as a Mayoralty candidate for Vision Vancouver. You can chose to support him or not. (DO YOUR RESEARCH.) If you do support Alan, and you are interested there are some forms you can fill out at antisocial. You can also volunteer for his campaign which would be a very interesting experience.

Fair statement, “Do your homework,” although it being a question of
nominations, the general election, aside from announced independents, is
uncertain.
None-the-less, this does bring up a thought a questionaire. Maybe a
debate on the general.
This former (police brutality knee healing) Skater (thick boards) supports himself for it. Can’t dig the Law and Order pro-police state possibility,
Alan Garr may be biased, but is quoting DeGenova’s plan to increase
policing and I understand isn’t against Camera’s everywhere.

Local papers and their sites are a good place to start.
I post articles on my Vancouver 2008 site even know I showcase myself.
I even see DeGenova as more in the legislative type and we have one
of those in that office now.
VSBC could have waited, Robertson added himself.
Could convince Buzz (tied him in 96 and invited tot he same debate) to run again.
John C. Turner is in the Vancouver-Quadra By-Election, still skating on Guinness Day. As is Libertarian Norris Barens.

There are plenty of amazing candidates running in the next election. I just wanted people to be aware that Alan has already been very involved with the VSC. There are lots of other candidates that will be running in the next election that have also been very helpful.

Here is another poll. Polls are fun! Vote for whomever you like!

Once again as in 2008, I promise the same thing: If elected M.P. for Vancouver Quadra in the upcoming St. Patrick’ Day federal By-erection I promise to put two skateboards in every garage.
For more info join the Neorhino Vancouver Quadra facebook group and tell all your westside Vancouver skaters to do the same.

SKATERS UNITE!!!
