Jeff Cole , a skateboard instructor and board member of the Vancouver Skateboard Coalition, is running a series of skateboard lessons and camps this summer at various Community Centres throughout the city. Check out the dates, locations, and contact information after the jump!

West Point Grey Community Centre at Quilchena Park
Lessons are on Sundays.
Beginners from 11 – 12:30.
Advanced from 12:45 – 2:15.

Riley Park Community Center Summer Skateboard Camps (by Queen E. Park). The dates for the camps are :
Monday, July 14th to Friday, July 18th
Monday, August 11th through Friday, August 18th
The Camps will run from 10 – 11:30 am each day.

Douglas Park Community Centre (Oak and 22nd).
Beginner lessons on Saturdays from 2-3:15.
Advanced lessons from 6 – 7:15 pm.
Skateboard Summer Camps July 21-25 and August 18-22 from 1:30 – 3

Spearhead Skate Explorations: a series of 8 out trips on Saturday mornings (9 am to 1 pm) to skateboard parks around the Lower Mainland. Trips start July 5th and run until the end of August.

There are also free drop in skate sessions twice a week on ramps set up on the basketball court behind Douglas Park. These are on Tuesdays and Fridays from 3 – 5:45. For info or to book contact Douglas Park at douglasparkcc@vancouver.ca or call 604-257-8130
