New Skatepark at Knight and 37th?
Looks like 2009 is off to a promising start… there’s a Park Board meeting on Monday, January 19th and number three on the agenda is a potential new skatepark at Kensington Community Centre (on Knight St. between 33rd and 37th). I’ll be there, but if you live in that area and would like to see a skatepark there, you should show up because they’ll value your opinion more than that of a guy who lives five minutes from Hastings.
The meeting is at the Park Board (2099 Beach Ave.) at 7:00pm. You’ll want to talk, so register by calling Julie Casanova at the Park Board at 604-257-8451 by noon on Monday.
