It’s time to start a new type of advent calendar, a countdown from now until next June.

If you feel like making a trip to the north shore the LBC indoor park is a godsend amidst dreadful rain. Although this park is a bit cramped, the mini ramp is more than worth the journey.

If the majority of people are agreeing or strongly agreeing (awesome!) that the Downtown Skateboard Plaza was/is a positive addition to the neighbourhood then it looks good for the Downtown Plaza and any future developments. That makes me happy, I think I may have a mini party right now where I am :)

Having attended about two years of meetings, the skaters were choked. Particularly because it had become obvious that the decision-making process was designed to polarize opinions and create two warring camps rather than encouraging the community to work together in creating the best outcome for everyone. Well the rain is just pouring down. A good day to write the mayor and council about getting an indoor park. It would be nice if Leeside was set up today. But instead healthy sk8 kids have spend their day inside watching sk8 vids or playing video games mayorandcouncil@vancouver.ca
